You need Affiliate status for subscriptions and Bits. Requirements: 50 followers, 500 total minutes streamed, 7 stream days, average 3 concurrent viewers over 30 days. Sounds easy โ€” and is still a hurdle for many.

The 3 concurrent viewers requirement is the hardest condition. Focus on this number. Tip: Stream when your target audience is online โ€” evenings on weekdays and weekends are stronger than Tuesday at 10am.

Set realistic times
How many hours per week can you realistically stream โ€” without burnout? Halve that for your official schedule. Better reliably 6h than burned out from 20h.

Optimize stream length
3โ€“4 hours is the sweet spot for most. Long enough for the discovery algorithm and viewer dwell time, short enough to maintain quality.

Category scouting with data
